In February 1996, the Company completed installation of a new waste water treatment system. The new system was installed in order to
- increase the Company's water treatment capacity
- reduce the overall biological effluent levels in the waste water
  discharged by the Company's paper plant and
- increase the efficiency of the Company's paper plant by decreasing
  the total quantity of water used in papermaking.
